GH spoilers hint that Christina Corinthos Davis, played by Kate Mancy, has suffered a ton of trauma in a short period. From the accident at Metro Court, where she crashed through a hotel window into a pool, to losing her baby, being harassed by John Jagger Kates (Adam Jay Harrington), and now her mom Alexis Davis’s (Nancy Lee Grahn) legal woes, Christina is on a mental health spiral.
It doesn’t help that Molly Lansing Davis (Kristen Banos) is pointing the finger of blame at Christina regarding the baby’s death and their mom’s current predicament. So, what happens to Christina when the next shoe drops?
GH spoilers remind fans that there is a silver lining to Christina’s mental health issues: she is getting help. Her sister Sam (Kelly Monaco) took her to the hospital, where Christina had a visit with patient advocate Felicia Scorpio (Christina Wagner). Christina was able to open up about some of her feelings, and Felicia offered her support, which is great news. However, fans know that this isn’t the end of Christina’s hurt and potential trauma.
Christina’s sister Sam is on the cusp of leaving the show, with reports hinting that the character will be killed off sometime this fall. It’s hard to say exactly how Sam will exit, but as the character is planning on diving into the choppy river to find the gun Alexis threw over the bridge to clear her name, fans can’t help but think this might be the way she dies. If it is, Christina will struggle with guilt alongside Alexis, and Molly will definitely hold Christina responsible for her other sister’s death.
The reason Alexis threw the gun over the bridge in the first place was because she was afraid Christina would use it on herself. Christina swore she would never do such a thing, so could the show be foreshadowing something here? With so much loss and tragedy endured in such a short time, could Christina feel as if there’s no way out?
Could she channel her inner Corinthos and end up on the hospital’s rooftop, ready to jump, much like her dad, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard), recently did? She would likely be stopped, but by whom? Could Morgan Corinthos (Bryan Craig) make another appearance? Maybe Sonny stops her.
Then again, perhaps this act is what makes Molly realize she’s been too harsh on her sister, and she’s the one who talks Christina off the ledge. Will Christina spiral after Sam’s death?
