Following that, Jason found purpose in being Sonny’s right-hand man and has always been loyal to the mobster, no matter what.
However, the recent General Hospital episodes have shown a different side of Jason—one we’ve never seen before. When Sonny Corinthos asked him to slip into his shoes, he declined. Jason wants to pull out of the mob and told Sonny that he can’t take over his role, which is a huge shift. Over the years, we have never seen Jason go against Sonny like that.
