The Family Chantel: Villain Pedro Will Never Find True Happiness (He Put Money Before Love)
Pedro Jimeno from The Family Chantelwon’t be finding happiness anytime soon after splitting from Chantel Everett. He joined the franchise with Chantel on 90 Day Fiancé season 4. Pedro’s love for Chantel was undeniable, and he had big dreams of building a life together in the United States. Sadly, things took a turn once they said they were married and had to face challenges in their relationship. After seven years, Pedro had enough of the family drama and ended his marriage. Now, he’s focusing on his career as a real estate agent, pouring his heart into his new job.
In The Family Chantel season 4, Pedro asks Chantel for a divorce, leaving her heartbroken and casting him as the reality TV villain. The Everett family suspected Pedro of being a scammer who used Chantel to get to the United States. However, Pedro denied this and claimed he simply fell out of love. After facing legal battles over their shared bank account, Pedro and Chantel finally settled their divorce, which was televised in The Family Chantel season 5. Fast-forward to 2024, and Chantel is currently searching for love while Pedro is focused on his job.
Pedro Focused On His Business, Not Chantel
Pedro has been thriving since he split from Chantel, but his personality has changed so much that it’s preventing him from finding true happiness.
Since the COVID-19 pandemic hit, Pedro has become a new person. He became laser-focused on his career as a real estate agent while his marriage fell by the wayside, ultimately leading to his divorce. In 2024, Pedro is still consumed by his work. He’s successful financially, but unfortunately, he hasn’t been able to build a family. If Pedro keeps prioritizing his desires over others, he could miss out on his dream of starting a family.
Pedro’s intense focus on his job became a cause for concern in The Family Chantel season 4. Chantel did everything she could to support her family, even reaching out to her in-laws for help. Sadly, Pedro’s dedication to his career made him oblivious to Chantel’s efforts. He seemed especially close to his female colleagues, leaving Chantel feeling uneasy. During a visit to Pedro’s office, Chantel witnessed suspicious behavior that made her question his loyalty. It appeared like he was getting too friendly with his co-workers and boss, possibly crossing a line to advance in his career.
Pedro Will Never Put His Partner First
It seems like Pedro and Chantel split because of his self-centered attitude.
While many would fight to keep their love alive, Pedro chose the easier path of not addressing their relationship problems. In a way, he resembles his father, who was also focused on himself and disregarded others’ feelings. Pedro clearly struggles to understand the importance of compromise and sacrifice in a relationship. It’s important to learn how to make sacrifices for love and maintain healthy relationships, qualities that Pedro seems to lack. Unfortunately, Pedro’s narcissistic traits make him less attractive to potential partners.
Pedro showed his true colors in The Family Chantel seasons 3 and 4. He calls Chantel lazy and hints that he cares more about his career than she does about hers. Pedro even compared their work ethics without acknowledging that Chantel works as a nurse in a demanding industry. Pedro wasn’t supportive when Chantel needed a break or wanted to go on vacation, and he constantly belittled her actions while thinking he deserved better. Clearly, Pedro struggles to see things from others’ perspectives and tends to live life one-dimensional.
Pedro Is Too Money-Hungry To Have A Real Relationship
Couples like David Toborowsky and Annie Suwan and Loren and Alexei Brovarnik prioritize their relationships, which brings them true joy. Unlike them, Pedro seems to only care about his desires and achievements. He may struggle to find happiness because Pedro’s main focus is money. He shows little interest in nurturing relationships, as seen by his strained relationship with Chantel’s family. Pedro prioritizes himself above all else, which may make it challenging for him to find a supportive community that cares for him. Hopefully, The Family Chantel star will be able to see his weaknesses and make improvements.
