Danny idolizes his father, Jason. However, his life isn’t conducive to raising a teenager. He lives a dangerous lifestyle, and he sleeps above Bobbie’s diner. Even though Sam won’t be around, Dante may want to step up and raise Sam’s kids.
After all, Sam and Dante were a blended family with Danny, Scout, and Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr). A life with Dante may be preferred, especially if Jason continues his work for Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard), which Sam was adamant about.
Spoilers also indicate Jason could soon be working for Jack Brennan (Charles Mesure) and the WSB, which may also present a conflict for Jason.
Not to mention, When Lulu Falconeri (last played by Emme Rylan) wakes up, she and Dante may convince Jason to let Danny live with them.
Hopefully, by then, Drew will have moved to Washington, D.C., to be a full-time politician. He may realize Scout should stay in Port Charles, and Dante and Lulu could raise her.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Sam’s Kids Could Live With The Quartermaines
Drew claims that family comes first, but he would unlikely drop out of the race to raise Scout. He’s too close to winning the election.
Drew loves his daughter, and Jason loves his son, but their life circumstances may make raising their children independently difficult.
Another option is for Danny and Scout to live with the Quartermaines. Drew may rely on Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) and Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) to care for Scout.
However, Drew appears more interested in causing the couple’s marriage trouble. The Davis girls, Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi) and Molly Lansing-Davis (Kristen Vaganos), could also help Danny and Scout.
They were ready for a new baby, but Sam’s kids could benefit from having a parental relationship with her sisters.
It’s also entirely possible that Jason could leave his risky profession and get a legitimate job that doesn’t pose a danger to children.
Like it or not, Jason and Drew have the right to decide what’s best for their children. They may choose to have their respective kids live with them.
It would require some changes, but they could make it work if they are determined to devote their time and energy to being better parents.
No matter when or how it happens, Sam’s death will be devastating for her kids. Hopefully, Jason and Drew can make peace and help each other, as Danny and Scout will need as much love and support as possible.
