General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that we have to ask: Is Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) getting a brand-new love interest? Will a fresh romance follow Sasha Gilmore Corbin’s (Sofia Mattsson) exit?

After Rory Gibson took over the role of Michael, fans immediately started wondering who the character would be paired up with.

For a while, it certainly looked like Michael and Sasha were poised to become a family unit with Daisy Gilmore (Brenden and Evelyn Beimford), Wiley Corinthos (Viron Weaver) and Amelia Corinthos (Sequoia and Serenity Mork Macko).

Of course, Sasha’s decision to leave town with Daisy threw off that plan.

It’s a shame since Sasha had such great chemistry with Gibson’s version of Michael, but the show must go on.

Despite all the hostility between Michael and Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen), many fans are still seeing the chem between them, too.

Willow and Michael have a certain spark in scenes together – even if it’s not a romantic one at the moment.

There’s always a chance that somewhere down the road when things are less contentious, Michael and Willow could find their way back to each other.

However, that’s obviously not going to happen anytime soon!

Michael is furious with Willow right now – and Sasha isn’t an option either as long as she remains off canvas.

Could all that add up to Michael getting a new love interest in the not-too-distant future?

Fall will be here before you know it, so it might be a good idea to introduce a new woman to the canvas and let her start getting to know Michael.

It could set the stage for some autumn love to bloom once all the summer chaos winds down.

By the time Willow’s eyes are opened to Drew and she realizes the extent of her mistakes, Michael may have fallen hard for someone else.

That news could add to Willow’s regrets in the end.

Now that Gibson has had some time to settle into the role, viewers could easily accept Michael in a fresh pairing.
