General Hospital

MINUTES AGO! It’s Over! General Hospital Sonny Corinthos Drops Breaking News! Big Sad News!

General Hospital predictions suggest Sonny Corinthos’ plot against Ava Jerome may blow up in his face and ruin his life on the ABC daytime drama.

Recently on GH, Sonny Corinthos’ opinion of Ava Jerome shifted dramatically and abruptly. For a while, Sonny was beginning to like and trust Ava. They were even starting to get romantic, and it seemed that they were beginning to develop genuine feelings for each other. However, after he met Natalia Rogers Ramirez, his growing attraction to Ava began to fade, and he became smitten with Natalia. Then he discovered that Ava was the reason Alexis Davis was disbarred years ago. That was the final straw on General Hospital, and it turned Sonny against Ava.

He immediately wanted nothing to do with her. First, he kicked her out of his penthouse, then he decided to go after full custody of Avery Corinthos. However, things are even more volatile now that he knows Ava is the one who recorded Natalia’s homophobic rant and leaked it to the Invader. Now Sonny is determined to ensure Ava never gets anywhere near Avery again. Plus, he vows to make her life not worth living.

However, Ava can fight just as hard and dirty as Sonny can. She won’t let him take her daughter away from her, and she will do whatever it takes to get sole custody. Currently, Ava Jerome (Maura West) is as determined to destroy Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) as he is to destroy her. He has his shark of an attorney, Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy), on his side, and he’s planning to obtain custody of their daughter, Avery Corinthos (Scarola twins). However, she has legal eagle Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner) in her corner, and he just gave her a brilliant idea.

He said there are very few ways she can ensure she keeps the mob kingpin away from Avery, but there is one that recently piqued Ava’s interest on General Hospital. He suggested that if Sonny were to have a mental breakdown in public, it could strengthen her chances of winning in family court. No doubt that got Ava’s wheels turning. Sonny knows how ruthless Ava can be, but it appears he is underestimating her. Ava is willing to destroy him in order to keep Avery with her, and it looks like she’s hatching a devious new plan that could very well work.

Here's What We Hope To See From General Hospital's Ava Jerome

Sonny has backed Ava into a corner on GH, and she’s ready to take desperate measures. Now it seems Ava’s going to set Sonny up for a public breakdown so he looks like an unfit parent and she gets the upper hand in court. After all, she knows something Sonny doesn’t. Not long ago, she discovered that the dosage of his bipolar medication was not right. It’s significantly lower than it’s supposed to be, so it is highly likely she will use that to her advantage and push him until he loses it on General Hospital.

Soon, Sonny’s son Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) desperately tries to reason with him. Also, his deceased son Morgan Corinthos (Bryan Craig) is returning for one episode soon. He’s not coming back for good, so he’s likely back for Sonny. However, it could go either way. Morgan could come to tell Sonny to pull back from the edge or send him over it until he hits rock bottom. He might torment his mob boss father about his mob-related death until he has a full-on breakdown. Then he could end up institutionalized with no rights to Avery.

Also, it may go another way on General Hospital. Sonny could turn violent, with his anger directed at Ava, causing her to slap him with a restraining order. Whichever way it goes, Sonny might end up losing Avery if he pushes her mother too hard. GH is electrifying right now. Keep watching to see if Ava destroys Sonny Corinthos on the ABC soap opera.
