Weekly spoilers find Laura Spencer Collins in the hot seat. Word is getting around that she would like Heather Weber to get a retrial, and people are not happy about it. This week, she gets advice from Alexis Davis, who later wonders about Heather’s future. Later, Laura must explain herself when Trina Robinson confronts her. Laura believes she’s doing the right thing. However, Trina was Heather’s main target on General Hospital. If Heather goes free, she will always be in fear for her safety. Indeed, if Laura pursues this mission, she could lose the respect and friendship of many of the people in Port Charles.
While Laura Spencer Collins (Genie Francis) attempts to make her constituents understand her reasoning regarding Heather Weber (Alley Mills), drama ensues across town. Elizabeth Weber (Rebecca Herbst) is still in disbelief over Hamilton Finn’s (Michael Easton) awful behavior. She’s ended their relationship, and soon she and Finn’s brother, Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard), express their concerns. Meanwhile, Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliott) does all she can to help, but Finn remains determined this week, and that could mean trouble.
Elsewhere on General Hospital, Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) is in shock from John “Jagger” Kates’ (Adam Harrington) latest demand. Also, Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) plays into Anna Devane’s (Finola Hughes) hands. Plus, Carly Corinthos Spencer (Laura Wright) faces disappointment. Later, she’s suspicious. Meanwhile, Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) gets increasingly closer to her mother, Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros). Plus, Nina continues her secret rendezvous with Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison), and Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) visits Heather in Pentonville.
