GH spoilers reveal that Dante Falconeri’s life has been turned upside down by the devastating news about Sam. Actor Dominic Zamprogna recently opened up to Soap Opera Digest about Kelly Monaco’s exit.

Zamprogna shared that he and Monaco became better friends as their characters fell in love on-screen. He emphasized that while their working relationship has ended, their friendship remains strong. Interestingly, the actor mentioned that he still checks up on her weekly.

When asked about the possibility of Kelly Monaco returning as Sam, Zamprogna stated, “It’s a soap—who the heck knows what’s going to happen?” He’s not wrong. After all, GH has brought characters back under unexpected circumstances before. Jake Webber (Hudson West) was brought back to life after a car accident and donating his kidney to Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy). So, anything is possible, right?

On a positive note, Dominic also shared that he gave Kelly some meaningful advice before she left the show. He stated, “I’ve found that the best things in life come when it feels as if a door is closing.” He added that he really tried to emphasize this to Monaco, encouraging her to embrace the new chapter ahead.

Leaving GH after more than two decades must be challenging for Kelly Monaco. However, as the saying goes, all good things must come to an end. For now, it seems her time on General Hospital is over.
