General Hospital spoilers report that Brook Lynn Quartermaine has a secret, and we don’t think she’s shared it with her hubby, Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard), as of yet. While she has opened up to Chase about her desire to have a baby, it doesn’t seem she’s let slip that she’s already done this before. Rumor has it, she and Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) may have hooked up after all, many moons ago when Dante was with Lulu Falconeri (Alexa Havens). That set hookup resulted in a baby on board, which they later gave up for adoption.
Is it possible? Sure, but if that’s the case, we doubt the story stops there. Fans have been wondering why Giovani “Gio” Palares (Giovanni Maza) is in Port Charles. We have an inkling that it’s because Ly Cillo Reena Sopur isn’t just his surrogate family and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard), but that they are his grandparents.
When Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) and Brook Lynn refused to tell L the truth about Willow Corinthos (Katelyn McMullen) and Drew Quartermaine (Cameron Mathison) kissing, L was taken aback by the accusation that she couldn’t keep a secret. Brooklyn posed this question to Gio, and the look on his face and L’s were priceless as they locked eyes. They knew something everyone else didn’t.
Maybe they do. Is it possible that L knows Gio is Dante and Brook Lynn’s son? Is it possible Gio knows too? Or that Brooklyn has been waffling for months over whether or not she and Chase should have a baby this early in their marriage? But she just couldn’t shake the feeling that they were ready. When he agreed, she was overjoyed.
They’re getting pretty serious about trying to conceive, and that may be teeing us up for their devastation when they find out they can’t. If Brooklyn and Chase are destined to have fertility problems, will L feel inclined to share what she knows about Gio?
When Brook Lynn and Dante previously discussed the secret from their past that they wanted to stay there, they mentioned how it wouldn’t bode well for their lives now if it came out, especially regarding people like Chase. At the time, Dante certainly wasn’t considering how it would impact Lulu. Now that she’s away, things look very different.
Will Dante have to answer for how he came to have a child with Brook Lynn when they’ve both insisted all of these years that they didn’t actually sleep together? Will it feel like Dante betraying Lulu with Brenda Barrett (Vanessa Marcil) all over again—except for real this time?
