Luke Spencer’ Heartbreaking General Hospital! Update – Why He’s Really Leaving Will Shock You
General Hospital comings and goings: A new face will soon arrive in Port Charles, and this character promises to pull the rug out from under our feet. Just as Lulu Spencer miraculously awakens from her long coma, the drama of her father Luke Spencer’s tragic ᴅᴇᴀᴛʜ looms large. This means that the GH bosses might bring another character back from the ᴅᴇᴀᴅ.
Will we get to witness Anthony Geary as Luke once again? Lulu Spencer has finally opened her eyes after a deep sleep, and our beloved Kirsten Storms (Maxie) is back with a bang. Longtime viewers know that Lulu has been in a coma for almost half a decade, and she’s back in action.
Just because Lulu was asleep doesn’t mean the chaos around Port Charles hit a pause. So, it looks like the character has missed out on a ton of heartbreaking news while she was not around. Let’s start with Lulu’s kids: they are obviously all grown up. Rocco Falconeri is now a young and beautiful man, so expect emotional scenes as Lulu thinks about missing out on her kids’ childhood.
As for Charlotte Cassadine, the newly awakened resident will not be able to reunite with her daughter, as she’s on the run with Valentin Cassadine. But we will all be focusing on the brighter side as tearful reunions take place at General Hospital.
Lulu will be obviously glad to see Rocco, Laura, and Lucky Spencer, but soon, she will learn about her father not being by her bedside. We know that two years ago, Luke lost his life in a cable car disaster. It later came to light that Victor Cassadine was behind all of this.
But since Luke’s ᴅᴇᴀᴅ body was never shown, many viewers are still hoping that this ᴅᴇᴀᴛʜ can be undone. General Hospital comings and goings teases that characters coming back from the ᴅᴇᴀᴅ is a normal thing on soap operas. So, could we see Luke Spencer making a bombshell return to Port Charles to be with his daughter?
It would obviously be great to see Lulu and Luke reunite somewhere down the line if ABC soap reaches out to Anthony Geary and asks him to reprise the role of Lulu’s father. Even though Lulu would be all for meeting her ᴅᴇᴀᴅ father again, the pain of missing so much will haunt her.
If you think about it, Lulu did miss out on a lot, including Sam McCall’s demise and how her condition affected Dante Falconeri. We can’t wait to see how this storyline unfolds.
