General Hospital (GH) spoilers General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that lawyer Marco Rios (Adrian Anchondo) fails to show at his mom’s funeral during the week of July 14-18—but he has a good reason, he’s been kidnapped.
On the July 14 episode, fans realized that Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) kidnapped Marco in order to teach his dad Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) a lesson after he blew up Sonny’s bar.

Sonny Kidnaps Marco
Sidwell is the one who arranged the fire at Charlie’s Pub, and Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi) was in the place when it went up in flames. Luckily, Marco saved her but that doesn’t mean squat to Sonny!
General Hospital spoilers for the week of July 14 show Sonny telling Sidwell that Marco is fair game, then we see Marco tied up and gagged.
What is going on with Sonny? He usually doesn’t target innocent people, but in this case
Sidwell has made himself a target meaning that his loved ones are also under threat.
Should Marco be held accountable for his father’s actions? Sonny thinks so even though everyone around him is begging him not to hurt Marco.
Sidwell Should Be Concerned About Sonny
But there are questions as to how far Sidwell has gone to get to Sonny. Jason noted that the pub fire was messier than the explosion in Sonny’s condo that nearly ᴋɪʟʟᴇᴅ Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson).
What this means is that there could be someone else who poses a threat to Sonny. Which in turn means that targeting Sidwell’s son may be the wrong move.
Will Sonny Best Sidwell?
Sonny going off halfcocked and being distracted would play perfectly into this other person’s hand.
