General Hosptial News: Did The Soap Just Destroy Lulu’s Character?

A lot of fans seem to be outraged that the producers of General Hospital have decided to recast Lulu Falconeri, rather than bring back the character’s original portrayer, Emme Rylan.

Even Emme said that she was quite disappointed with the decision, prompting fans to wonder why she wasn’t asked back on the show. After all, she’s always been a fan favorite and a lot of viewers would agree that it was Emme who made Lulu so likable.

It goes without saying that many General Hospital fans have had a lot to say about the matter on social media.

Some have even commented with, “I am SO disappointed in this. Why recast when Emme was available? We already have a ton of recasts on screen. This was a chance to bring back a legacy character with the actress that played her. Such a bummer.”

“I hope they don’t make the same mistakes they made when they casted Molly, it took 3 tries and I’m still not sold.”

Another fan wrote, “You are bringing back the original Morgan. Why not the same for Lulu. Emma played an excellent Lulu.”

“We have missed her and her character. There has been too many changes in actors as of lately. We need to see Emma as Lulu.”

And then there was this comment as well: “Again GH is making big mistakes! If you were bringing LuLu back why not choose the last actress who played her or the original?”

“I mean bringing in a 3rd actress makes no sense..unless you just being cheap which is my guess! New actors are cheaper huh? This is pitiful you recast LuLu but won’t recast her father Luke!”
