Often known for his motivational messages, the ABC daytime drama star took a different approach on Tuesday, getting down to some straight talk. On Instagram, he shared a reel discussing how some men seem to stop caring and let themselves go

In his caption, he wrote, in part:

Hey. I know a lot of the messages I have here are for the ladies, but guys, this one’s for you because I hear it all the time. I would die for my family. I would die for my family, but will you live for them? Will you quit drinking for them? Will you get up early for them? Will you work out for them?  Will you eat clean for them?  Will you quit other addictions for them?  Will you quit the excuses for them?

Not done yet, the real-life Jason Morgan also asked his male followers, “Are you an asset to your family or are you a liability?” adding, “Dying is easy. Living with discipline is hard, but it’s the way.”

While he admitted that he’s not perfect, Steve Burton told his followers that he tries, and invited them to try and better their lives as well.

He Once Said He Can Predict The Future

Not long ago, Steve discussed how it’s possible to predict the future simply by observing how people live and the lifestyle choices they make. He made a conscious effort to work on himself, and he’s changed significantly. Genuinely caring about others, he now shares plenty of tips to help people stay motivated for a healthier lifestyle.

A major influencer with nearly half a million followers, few of his health and wellness posts go unnoticed. Perhaps it’s because he leads by example. Though he’s nowhappily remarried to Michelle Lundstrom, he wasn’t always a happy man – and it seems he genuinely enjoys helping others feel better about themselves.
