General Hospital spoilers indicate that Kai Taylor (Jens Austin Astrup) could contemplate a major change in his life now that his relationship with Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) has come to an end. Kai betrayed Trina, and now trust is lost. Kai still loves Trina,
and is devastated and confused by the end of their relationship. Kai doesn’t see how telling the truth was a betrayal to Trina, but it was.
Kai Taylor Betrayed Trina Robinson To The Point Of No Return
After Kai warned Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) that Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) was planning on finding Jacinda (Paige Herschell) and asking her to lie and say that Drew took the ketamine on his own, and that he would pay her handsomely for this if she did.
Drew intercepted Curtis’s plan thanks to Kai, and Kai let Curtis know that he tipped Drew off. Curtis told him that he would have to answer to Trina for what he has done. Once Kai told Trina what he did, Trina was hurt and betrayed and screamed at Kai that they were done.
Trina told Kai that she will always choose her family first, and that she will never consider him family. Kai was devastated when Trina ended the relationship and told him to leave. Trina sees this as betrayal that Kai can’t come back from.
Kai Taylor Mourns The Loss Of His Relationship With Trina Robinson
Kai would be completely heartbroken over losing Trina, and could confide in Drew, who seems to be his latest confidante and mentor. Drew would be supportive, and try to convince Kai to move forward with his life.
Despite his overtures and attempts to ask Trina for her forgiveness, Kai remains devastated when Trina does not budge and tells him that she never wants to see him again.
Kai is at a loss, and doesn’t know what to do. That’s when Drew could make a suggestion.
Drew Cain Manipulates Kai Taylor Into Moving To D.C. For His Internship
Now that Kai is no longer involved with Trina, and has no reason to stay in Port Charles, Drew could convince
Kai to move to D.C. to do his internship working for him at the congregational office. Drew would manipulate Kai, and convince him that leaving Port Charles would be a great way to move on from Trina, and that he needs to work in D.C. for this future, and that this would be the best move for him.
It would also serve Drew well to have Kai in D.C. as his eyes and ears.
Kai Taylor Leaves Port Charles
After a final nudge from Drew, Kai would decide to leave Port Charles for good, and make D.C. his new home. Drew would tell him that he would make sure that he has a great job once his internship has completed, and that his future is bright.
Since Trina is still not speaking to him, and it is really over between the two of them, Kai makes the move to D.C., and hopes to put Trina and everything that happened behind him.
