General Hospital Spoilers: It has been almost a year since Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) was ᴋɪʟʟᴇᴅ off the show. Of course, Sam was a loved heroine and fans are asking now, more than ever, why she was even ᴋɪʟʟᴇᴅ off.
With everything that is going on right now, fans cannot help but wonder why they decided to ᴋɪʟʟ Sam for no good reason.
Sam McCall’s Passing Has Had No Real Effect
Other than the good emotional scenes that Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) and Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn), and of course, Jason Morgan (Steve Burton), wha was the point in Sam’s ᴅᴇᴀᴛʜ? Sam was ᴅᴇᴀᴅ and gone, finished after over 20 years on that show.
So much more should have bene down with this storyline.
Having Sam ᴋɪʟʟᴇᴅ by over crazy Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) made no sense at all. This never even gave fans a mystery to solve. What was the reason for Cyrus to ᴋɪʟʟ Sam? There were certainly other people in Port Charles who might have been better to have been given that job. Why is Sam, who is needed by her children right now, in a grave?
Kelly Monaco Dropped Hints Of Drama
Everyone has seen Kelly’s hints about drama back stage and over relationships between the stars of the show. However, what was the point story wise? Poor Sam had just gotten engaged to Dante when his ex-wife’s coma story heated up. Sam had done enough by saving Lulu, but then Lulu wanted Dante back.
Sam’s ᴅᴇᴀᴛʜ was just pushed aside for all of this drama as well as Lulu being right in the middle of Dante and Brook Lynn Chase (Amanda Setton) son storyline.
Sam could have helped solve that mystery herself, had she been alive. Drew is making her daughter’s life a living hell while he continues to try to get Willow Corinthos (Katelyn McMullen) to marry him.
Kristina Corinthos Is Out Of Control
Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi) has caused even more drama by trying to ᴋɪʟʟ Ava Jerome (Maura West). Alexis has enough issues going on with blackmail now, she doesn’t need any more. Sam was much better at reigning in Kristina than Alexis has ever been. Could Sam have helped keep Kristina getting in over her head again?
Sam is needed much more than her character needed to be ᴋɪʟʟᴇᴅ off. Sam’s children need their mother because their fathers certainly are being the best of parents to them. Sam’s ᴅᴇᴀᴛʜ certainly seems to be the worst thing that could have happened.
At this point, Sam needs to be kidnapped instead of ᴅᴇᴀᴅ and Jason needs to find her and bring her home.
