General Hospital Spoilers | Britt reveals who poisoned Sonny in LA, Dalton’s informant in danger
General Hospital spoilers and updates tease Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) is indeed alive, and apparently not only revived from the Hook’s poison, but healthy.
Viewers will remember that Britt was diagnosed with Huntington’s Disease, inherited from her birth father Cesar Faison (Anders Hove) and was leaving Port Charles anyway-did she discover a miracle cure?
Huntington’s Is Incurable
At least in real life, Huntington’s, also called Huntington’s Chorea, is an incurable neurological disease-before Britt got pricked by Heather Webber’s (Alley Mills) hook, she was leaving.
Britt couldn’t handle a future of gradual disintegration and many years of care, and her mother having to witness her decline, and likely being her caregiver.
So, the night she saved Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) not realizing till too late that the hook went through her large purse/briefcase, she supposedly ᴅɪᴇᴅ in Liesl Obrecht’s (Kathleen Gati) arms.
Liesl just got back to Port Charles herself, and has said nothing about Britt other than giving Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr) some information he asked about. She’s given no indication of her survival, yet she is the last one to see Britt alive-did she manage to keep her in stasis all these years, unbeknownst to anyone?
Britt Alive, And No Hand Tremors-Did She Discover A Cure?
Dr. Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) had identified the toxin that Heather dipped the point of the hook in before making her attacks, but for Britt, it was too late.
Yet, here she is in the Paris airport alive and well, bound for Dubrovnik, Croatia and no hand tremors, which are a symptom of Huntington’s.
She didn’t see Jason Morgan (Steve Morgan) in her rush to board her plane, but he sure saw her-and even tried to board long enough to find out, but he was declined. She was carrying a bag that said “Five Poppies” on it-and several drugs, both legal and illegal are made from poppies-did she discover a cure made from poppies?
Jason Talked To Carly About Seeing Britt, And He’ll Talk To Liesl Too
Jason talked to Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) about seeing Britt in the airport, and she thought he was mistaken-she told him Britt was ᴅᴇᴀᴅ, to which he answered so was he! He’ll also talk to Liesl about Britt, but will he bring up seeing her doppelganger in the airport, bound for Croatia? Most likely he will, because even though he hurt Britt when he married Carly for five minutes and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) came back from Nixon Falls, he was desperate to talk.
What will Liesl say-will this be a pleasant shock to her as well, did she keep Britt’s survival a secret? Or does she not know either, that her daughter has found a cure for her Huntington’s’, or was misdiagnosed-not to mention surviving the hook venom!
