General Hospital Spoilers: Britt Returns With Willow’s Dᴇᴀᴛʜ News, Katelyn MacMullen Leaving GH
General Hospital spoilers and updates reveal it seems that the ABC soap is cornering Willow Tait, leading fans to speculate about Katelyn MacMullen’s potential departure from the show.
This speculation arises after GH viewers discovered this week that Willow was the vindictive stalker of Daisy Gilmore (Levi Clark Coughlin).
Willow’s Been Behaving Very Strangely
Many fans could predict the storyline taking this turn from a long way off. Willow has been behaving strangely since losing custody of Wiley Corinthos (Viron Weaver) and Amelia Corinthos (Sequoia and Serenity Mork Macko).
However, it is clear that Willow has recently crossed several legal boundaries while grappling with her mental state.
From breaking into the Quartermaine mansion to dealing with Daisy without her parents’ consent (and much more), she now faces two possible outcomes: jail or a mental health facility.
Either option would likely reduce Willow’s screentime, so could this signal her exit from the show-is Katelyn MacMullen leaving the series?
Sasha’s Portrayer Is Said To Be Leaving, Although There’s No Hints About Willow
Currently, there’s a lot of talk online about Sofia Mattsson, who portrays Sasha Corbin (Daisy Gilmore’s mother), possibly leaving GH.
This was hinted at during the episode on Wednesday, July 9, when a panicked Sasha told Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) that the only way to ensure Daisy’s safety is to leave town.
If Willow continues her behavior with Daisy, Sasha might ignore any concerns Michael has and turn this into a reality-in fact they talked to Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) about it.
However, it’s well-known that no secret in Port Charles stays hidden for long, so eventually, Willow will be caught for her actions.
The Truth About Daisy’s Stalker Will Outrage Michael
Regardless of whether someone hears her confessing or she is caught red-handed, the reality of Daisy’s stalker will come to light, leaving Michael furious.
This situation will also put Willow in a difficult position; fans have speculated that Willow might be dealing with dissociative identity disorder (DID), which could clarify her bizarre actions.
If this is true, she will need medical help to manage this issue; even if Willow is merely experiencing a mental health crisis, this breakdown must be dealt with.
On the other hand, it’s possible Willow is simply embracing her darker side due to Drew Cain’s (Cameron Mathison) influence, which could lead to her facing jail time, even if it’s brief.
Regardless, Willow will probably be absent from the show, even if it’s just for a short break-could this be a way to set the stage for a recast in her role?
