General Hospital spoilers say that fans certainly didn’t see this coming. It looks like Kirsten Storms (Maxie Jones) is quitting Port Charles. Or at least for now. Keep reading below for everything you need to know.

Kirsten Storms Quits Port Charles

According to the latest reports, Kirsten, who is best known for her role as Maxie Jones on the hit ABC soap, is moving to Tennessee.

However, there’s speculation suggesting that she will be back on the set of the ABC soap, but just not anytime soon. It seems like the actress intends on returning sometime during the end of the year, but nothing is certain at this point.

Either way, General Hospital fans are gutted that they won’t be seeing her as often on the canvas as they would like.

Of course, the internet certainly did have a lot to say about the matter. Some even commented with, “I had heard this was coming on social media but I am still sad, I love Maxie and miss her getting A stories.”

“I will say one thing Mulcahey got right in his short stint last year as head writer was bringing back Maxie’s personality. Storms seemed to be enjoying it too, she had that spark again.”

What’s Next For Kirsten Storms?

Another fan of the show wrote, “The truth is we will never know what happened bts, but my fear when he was hired came true- beautiful at character, not as good at generating stories. He was excellent at making these people characters again.”

And then there was this comment as well: “That will be quite the commute for her. I know she’s pretty happy to be moving to Tennessee and maybe she’ll eventually duck out of the acting business?”

“I love Maxie, so I hope we don’t lose her, but as always, I’d want the best things for Kirsten and her daughter Harper.”
