General Hospital News: This Is What The Internet Has To Say About Alexa Havins As The New Lulu

Alexa Havins revives Lulu Spencer's role on 'General Hospital'

As many General Hospital fans probably know by now, All My Chidreln alumni Alexa Havins is now the new Lulu in Port Charles.

The character was last portrayed by Emme Rylan, who expressed her disappointment in not being asked back to reprise her role.

Emme said in August, “GH has decided to recast Lulu. Although I’m very disappointed with their choice, I am glad to finally have closure. (And thank goodness JH brought all of you people into my life! Love you guys!)”

And while there were a lot of people who expressed their dismay in not seeing Emme back on the canvas as well, there also seems to be a lot of people who are excited to see Alexa in the role.

It goes without saying that the internet sure did have a lot to say about the matter on social media.

Julie Berman returns to the show - General Hospital Casts

Some even commented with, “This is going to be dynamo! Alexis has the energy Emme Rylan had, but the acting chops and abilities of Julie Berman, which I think is the perfect mixture as the character will mature. I do find it to be symbolical that Havins is in, Monaco is out.”

Another critic wrote, “Wow, I love Alexa the last time I saw on TV was Torchwood Miracle Day. Still married to Justin Bruening who played Jamie on #AllMyChildren congratulations.”

Kelly Monaco Is Leaving 'General Hospital' After 21 Years

“Still does not absolve #GH of use of minority characters or firing of Kelly Monaco. Bringing Lucky and Holly not enough.”

And then there was this comment as well: “Wow wow wow! This was my dream casting for years. I’m so excited about this. Alexa is amazing. Welcome to #GH I’m so excited about this.”
