Kin Shriner has delighted fans as he promised to “be back in business” very soon after undergoing surgery on his foot.

Kin was discharged from the hospital and sent back home the next day. He shared a video of himself watching TV and wrote: “Day 1 got Netflix, @tcm, maybe watch Scotty on @GeneralHospital. Today got a knee scooter not a Vespa but I can look at it!!!!”

Speaking in the video, he said: “Thank God for TCM! I had my foot surgery yesterday, so I watched Airplane I, II, and III.” He then opened up about his return to work plans and said: “I’ll be watching movies for a while until a few weeks I’ll be back in business.”

Fans offered their well-wishes and encouraged Kin to focus on his recovery. “Cool, lay back and enjoy the healing journey! And I always enjoy you rocking the vintage filters,” one person wrote.

Another said: “Oh gosh feel better. Painful I bet!,” while a third fan commented: “Glad the foot surgery went well. Now get some rest and enjoy movie time.”

Another fan also praised Kin for his recent work on General Hospital. They wrote: “Movies have been so-so but today General Hospital was the most exciting stuff I’ve seen on TV in a long time with the Blaze storyline, and you were a part of it! Bravo!!”

Kin’s expected to miss a few episodes of General Hospital, but he hopes to be back in the coming weeks. It seems like that’s just as well as Ava Jerome might need his help.

Sonny Corinthos has been threatening to sue Ava for custody of their daughter. She’s going to need a good lawyer to help her out which is where Kin’s character Scott Baldwin could come in and save the day.
