‘General Hospital’ Kirsten Storms Opens Up About Weight Loss
General Hospital fans have noticed a significant change in the way Maxie (played by Kirsten Storms) looks recently. The GH actress has been an open book when it comes to her health struggles. Now, she is talking about her weight loss and doing what she can to live a healthy life. Here’s what she had to say.
General Hospital Fans Notice Maxie’s Change In Appearance
GH fans got to see Maxie on the ABC soap this week. The episode focused on Cody (Josh Kelly) having brunch with his family and Maxie, of course, was included. Viewers also saw her at the Quartermaine main house before brunch. She was involved in a meeting about Deception.
Fans noticed that Maxie looked like she’d lost a bit of weight. Over the years, actress Kirsten Storms has been open about her health problems and the weight gain that came as a result. She had to undergo brain surgery where a tumor was removed. That led to changes in her appearance.
Viewers commented on Maxie’s weight gain when that happened, now they’ve noticed that she’s shed a few pounds.
There is no doubt that any conversations about Kirsten Storms’ appearance make her uncomfortable. However, the General Hospital star has been hitting the gym.
Although the soap actress is typically private about her life, she has shared a few snaps inside a Jiu-Jitsu gym recently. She often tags her trainer in her mirror selfies. Just yesterday, she posted a sweaty photo next to her trainer on the ground.
Her hard work has been paying off and GH fans have noticed her weight loss in recent episodes. Not to mention, Maxie has undergone a complete makeover where her looks are concerned.
The character is wearing more form-fitting clothing and her hair and makeup are flawless.
Maxie & Lulu Will Reunite Soon
It is likely viewers will be seeing more of Maxie in upcoming episodes of General Hospital as well. The soap is kicking off the Lulu (Alexa Havins) storyline and the two friends are sure to come together once again.
What has yet to be seen is how Maxie and the new Lulu, formerly played by Emme Rylan, will mesh together on screen. Emme and Maxie are close in real life, so it may be a bit of an adjustment for the actresses to get to know each other.
Kirsten Storms’ character is in the middle of several other storylines at this time as well. She and Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) are getting along again. It is assumed the same will happen between Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) and Lulu when she returns.
It hasn’t been revealed when Alexa Havins will make her debut on General Hospital as Lulu. There have been hints that she’ll make an appearance later this month or in October sometime. Either way, major players on GH are making a comeback. Be prepared to see more of Maxie, Lulu, and the Spencer/Quartermaine crew.
