General Hospital Fans Think Rebecca Herbst Is Leaving Show
General Hospital fans are getting tired of the show firing popular actors or recasting roles. Some viewers are still upset that the show fired Kelly Monaco last year after over twenty years with the show. Fans worried at the time that Rebecca Herbst would be the next actress the show fired.
That didn’t happen at the time but a recent storyline has fans again wondering about the actress’s future with the show. As viewers saw last week, Kristina (Kate Mansi) tampered with Ava’s (Maura West) car in a revenge plot. But it was Elizabeth and Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst) who got in the car.
Fans were concerned that the show was about to ᴋɪʟʟ Elizabeth off. Lucky was the first to arrive in the aftermath of the crash. Kristina confessed that she messed with the car and that her target was Ava.
Lucky rushed to Elizabeth’s side after finding out she was in the car. He begged her to survive. As multiple outlets noted, Elizabeth started to regain consciousness at Lucky’s urging and seemed to be stable. But what about her ex-husband, Ric?
Wild Theory About Ric’s Fate
Rick Hearst just returned to General Hospital last summer. Is his time with the show done already? That’s what some fans think after the car crash. Viewers took to social media to beg the show not to ᴋɪʟʟ off Ric.
One popular theory is that Ric will ᴅɪᴇ and donate his heart to his half-brother Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard.) Sonny had a medical emergency last week and Ava wasn’t inclined to give him the medication he needed. Fans have speculated for a while that Maurice Benard is ready to retire. But it seems plausible that the show could sacrifice Ric to save Sonny’s life.
