General Hospital spoilers tease that Lucky Spencer (Jonathan Jackson) is struggling to figure out what his future holds.
He only returned to Port Charles because he thought he was going to be his sister Lulu Spencer’s (Alexa Havens) liver donor. However, once Lucky’s liver wasn’t considered viable for donation, he began battling self-doubt.
Lucky doesn’t think there’s any reason for him to remain in Port Charles, despite the protests of Elizabeth Weber (Rebecca Herbst).
Elizabeth and Lucky share a son, Aiden Weber (Enzo De Angelis), who is now a young man on the brink of adulthood. Before Lucky’s recent return, he hadn’t seen Aiden in about a decade.
It’s no wonder Lucky was surprised when Aiden came out to him as gay. Lucky was happy that Aiden trusted him enough to share this, and the two of them have been getting closer.
If Lucky leaves again, Aiden will be devastated, and Elizabeth doesn’t want that to happen. She made sure Lucky knew exactly how she felt about him leaving.
Another factor that might keep Lucky in town is his sister, Lulu Spencer. Lulu is about to wake up from a four-year-long coma, and she’s going to need all the support she can get.
Once Lulu realizes just how much time she’s lost, her recovery will require the help of her loved ones.
But even with Aiden and Lulu both needing him, Lucky will still need to find some sort of purpose to remain in Port Charles.
Recently, Lucky also had a conversation with Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard). After their discussion, Sonny made a mysterious phone call to help Lucky one way or another.
There are several possibilities for Lucky’s future. Perhaps Sonny contacted Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) to see if Curtis needs someone to run The Savoy now that Marshall Ashford (Robert Gossett) is out of town.
Another option could be Sonny asking Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) to let Lucky run Kelly’s Diner.
It’s even possible that Sonny asked Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) to offer Lucky a partnership in a new private investigation firm.
There are plenty of opportunities for Lucky, as long as he’s open to them.
