Awful Secret!! It’s Over! General Hospital Sonny Drops Breaking News! It will shock you!
General Hospital spoilers reveal that Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) and Sunny Corinthos (Maurice Bernard) are struggling to pretend they’re anything more than co-parents to Donna Corinthos (Scarlet Spears). They’ll have to improve upon their deceptive marketing of their faux relationship if they want the police and Feds to buy their story that they spontaneously rekindled their union on the night that FBI agent John Jagger (Casey Adam Harrington) was murdered at the Quartermain Mansion.
Rumor has it that these two won’t have trouble for much longer, though, when tragedy strikes and they are further bonded by shared trauma. Will they come out on the other side together again for real? Word on the street is Carly and Sunny are both going to experience a tidal wave of emotional heartbreak soon.
We’ve seen it before! While Sunny might have Metalia Ramirez (Eva LaRue) in his corner, she barely knows him. She doesn’t know how to nurse him through his angry spells or somber times the way Carly does. Likewise, he may be into WSB agent Jack Brennan (Charles Mesure), but he won’t provide the comfort that Sunny does.
This makes us suspect the loss they experienced may be shared. Say it ain’t so, Donna Corinthos (Scarlet Spears)! We know Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) is going to die sometime this fall, given that the 21-year GH veteran filmed her final scenes last week.
It’s possible that we may find out how she goes later this month, especially with how much pressure she’s putting on Carly to recant her false alibi and stop protecting Sunny. Could it be that it’s the mob boss himself who finally takes her out? Will Carly be a part of that crime too?
It wouldn’t be an easy hit for either of them to see through. Could their shared, self-induced grief lead them to lean on each other while being unable to tell anyone else, even Jason Morgan (Steve Burton), the truth?
It’s also possible that Sunny and Carly will naturally fall back together just because Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennessy) pushes them to that brink. Diane is already advocating that they move back in together, something Carly is strongly against since it would lead Donna to believe their reunion is genuine.
But Carly may be left with no choice if the authorities start poking holes in her claim that she knocked boots with Sunny at the exact time that Kate was killed. Will moving day come sooner than we expect? Will the wedding day follow?
