“Anna Devane’ Emotional Confession: The Heartbreaking News That Shocked Everyone 💔”ðŸ˜
General Hospital spoilers claim that Police Commissioner Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) is on a hunt for the person who killed FBI Special Agent John Jagger Kates (Adam Harrington). Although Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) was the most likely suspect, as he was on the grounds at the Quartermaine Mansion at the time that Kates was shot, he’s going to have quite an interesting alibi. Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) fudges the truth about where Sonny was and what he was up to with her.
There were others at the Q Mansion that night with motive. So, just who is Anna going to be forced to arrest, even if it pains her to do so?
Rick Lansing (Rick Hearst) and Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) were out for an evening stroll and just happened to see Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) on the footbridge, tossing what appeared to be a gun into the waters below. Alexis didn’t do herself any favors by lying about what she was doing there, claiming she tossed her phone into the water instead.
When Rick learns that Kates was killed, he may tell Anna what he knows about Alexis’s walk to the water that night. It wouldn’t be easy for Anna to arrest Alexis, especially since she just got her bar license back. Of course, Alexis is unlikely to tell the authorities that she was ditching the gun because she found it in Kristina Corinthos-Davis’s (Lexi Ainsworth) purse. She had no idea it was Sonny’s gun, and she was completely in the dark about Kates’s death. But it won’t help her case if she becomes a suspect in his murder.
Learning of Kates’s death is only going to make Alexis think Kristina killed him. Alexis may be willing to take the fall for her daughter, but Kristina will probably confess to having stolen Sonny’s gun. Without an alibi to confirm she was at the cemetery alone, Kristina could be arrested for Kates’s murder.
Sonny might be willing to let Alexis ride it out until Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) can prove it couldn’t possibly have been Alexis who killed Kates. However, it’s hard to imagine Sonny letting Kristina take the fall for him at the same time. Without any evidence linking Kristina to the crime, it’ll be harder to prove anything. He knows what kind of gun was used to kill Kates and knows it wasn’t the gun Kristina had in her possession.
But how is Sonny going to account for the missing gun? And what happens if the gun Alexis tossed into the river is recovered and found to be Sonny’s missing firearm?
Will Anna be able to keep her personal feelings aside as she digs deeper into this family’s secrets in her search for Kates’s killer?
