Danielle & Mohamed Jbali Are The Most Controversial Couple In The 90 Day Fiancé Franchise (Are They Worse Than Michael & Angela?)
Mohamed Jbali and Danielle Mullins were some of the messiest couples on 90 Day Fiancé, and despite having some unique pairs, Danielle and Mohamed still take the title. 90 Day Fiancé has featured many incredible love stories over the years. While some found their soulmates, others presented some of the most toxic traits ever on reality TV, with some cast members humiliating their partners publicly. From Gino Palazzolo and Jasmine Pineda to Angela Deem and Michael Ilesanmi, some of these storylines were difficult to watch but still entertaining.
Danielle and Mohamed first starred in90 Day Fiancé season 2 before going on two seasons of 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After?. Mohamed, who was 26 at the time, met Danielle, 41, in a chat room and seemed smitten by her. Undeterred by their 15-year age difference, Mohamed moved to the United States, and it went downhill from there. While Mohamed and Danielle looked like an odd pairing from the beginning, no one could have imagined how their love story ended.
Danielle Concealed Information From Mohamed
The 2014 engagement between the Tunisian-born millennial and the Ohio native lady brought some of the weirdest moments in the 90 Day Fiancé history. Danielle wasn’t truthful with Mohamed about her debt problem when they started talking. Problems arose for the 90 Day Fiancé couple when Mohamed learned of Danielle’s financial situation. The 90 Day Fiancé participant was also involved in credit card fraud.
Their ups and downs left the 90 Day Fiancé viewers reaching for more popcorn every time they came on the screen. Their relationship was built on lies, so it wasn’t going to last. However, Mohamed had his fair share of lies too. He led Danielle to believe he had secured a job in the U.S. but was unemployed. Regardless of their problems and the disapproval of Danielle’s family members, Danielle and Mohamed decided to get married before his visa expired.

Mohamed appeared uninterested in Danielle when he set foot on American soil. Unlike other 90 Day Fiancé couples who wouldn’t keep their hands off each other, for instance, Paola and Russ Mayfield, there were no steamy moments between Mohamed and Danielle. Mohamed claimed his religion didn’t permit him to show any form of affection publicly towards his wife.
On several occasions, the Tunisian man showed how much he wasn’t attracted to Danielle, who constantly held onto hope that one day, things would turn around. However, there weren’t any red flags that would have stopped Danielle from marrying the love of her life. Mohamed later claimed that he was repulsed by Danielle’s odor during a Tell-All with Shaun Robbinson, in what would come to be one of the cringiest moments on reality TV.

The dust has settled, and the exes are in a better place and are living separate lives. Mohamed moved on from Danielle and got married a second time to a different American woman, Jilian Lee Jbali. In February, Mohamed revealed they had welcomed their first child together. The former 90 Day Fiancé star now lives in North Carolina. Before wiping out all his photos on his Instagram page, Mohamed seemed like he was enjoying fatherhood.
Perhaps the Tunisian native wants his new family to remain discreet after all the drama he’d experienced while with Danielle.
On the other hand, Danielle is living her best life as a registered nurse. Besides flaunting her high grades for her third quarter in the RN program, the 90 Day Fiancé has also been sharing photos of her family members and her new addition to the family – her dog Coco. In late June, Danielle said she would be posting about her weight-loss journey, noting that she would take Wegovy to help the 90 Day Fiancé alum lose more weight.
