Martin reads Monica’s will in the wedding, Drew & Jason are not heirs General Hospital Spoilers

General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that the show just offered a fall storyline clue and a major character introduction. There’s a good chance Monica Quartermaine’s (Leslie Charleson) long-lost sister is behind the letter that Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight) discovered on the floor at Drew Cain’s (Cameron Mathison) house.

In the July 22 episode, Martin stumbled upon that letter, which was covered in the kids’ artwork.

Drew shrugged it off as something Wiley Corinthos (Viron Weaver) and Amelia Corinthos (Serenity and Sequoia Mork Macko) probably picked up at the Quartermaine mansion and used as scrap paper.

The envelope was addressed to Monica, but there’s no confirmation just yet on who wrote the letter inside.

However, Martin read a bit of that letter aloud – enough for fans to find out someone was sorry to hear that Monica was ill and that it had been a long time since they’d talked.

According to Daytime Confidential’s sources, it looks like One Life to Live alum Erika Slezak will be playing Monica’s long-lost sister when she begins her GH run this autumn.

That’s what all the insider buzz points to, so it sounds like Monica’s secret sibling will indeed shake things up.

Now that Martin has found that letter, it makes sense that it’s being used to set up this long-lost sister’s eventual Port Charles arrival.

In other words, it seems viewers just got their first sign of Erika Slezak’s upcoming debut and the fall story she’ll kick off when she finally appears.

For now, Martin will have to decide what to do with the letter he just discovered.

Could there be some way for Martin to use it to his advantage – especially against Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot)?

Regardless, Martin was visibly shocked over whatever news he read.

It’ll be interesting to see how Martin plays all this and whether he can gain the upper hand somehow.

It’s possible that Monica’s long-lost sister could cause some chaos related to Monica’s will once she passes away.

That’d be a quick way to rile Tracy up and make Monica’s sister her next rival.
