Parade is reporting that the ‘official’ Emmys handle on the social media platform X recently posted an FAQs thread in early July, and one of the judges for the Daytime Emmys went against the rules.

According to the guidelines, judges cannot talk about “… specific categories they served on or their opinions of the material they reviewed” privately, personally, or via social media.

Looks like General Hospital’s Kate Mansi (Kristina Corinthos-Davis), who is also a past Daytime Emmy winner and nominee this year, might be in trouble.

Kate Mansi Pulls A Kristina Corinthos-Davis Move

Kate’s character, Kristina, is infamous for pulling some impulsive moves that land her in the hot seat.

Mansi uploaded an article screenshot shortly after the nominations were announced on her Instagram Stories, focusing on the Outstanding Lead Actress in a Daytime Drama Series category.

In the IG Story she wrote, “I was so lucky to judge this impossible category and so proud of each of these women, and friends!”

Kate was likely very excited about all the nominations, as many of her current and past colleagues were given nods this year and got caught up in the buzz.

She was also likely proud of the role she played, as it’s a big one, so it looks like she accidentally broke this rule.

As of this writing, it’s uncertain if she’ll get reprimanded for this; however, as it was in her Story, and those posts are only up for 24 hours, it’s no longer on her social media, so there’s that, right?

Mansi has been nominated for a Daytime Emmy in the category of Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series this year, for her role as Kristina Corinthos-Davis, a character she’s played since 2023.

Previously, she played Abigail DiMera on Days of Our Lives from 2011 to 2016, as well as from 2018 to 2020.

The 2025 Daytime Emmys are held in Pasadena, California, on Friday, October 17.
