General Hospital Spoilers | Sidwell falsifies Natalia’s autopsy results, Sonny ᴅɪᴇs in prison
General Hospital (GH) spoilers for the week of July 7-11 suggest that Natalia Ramirez’s (Eva LaRue) autopsy may point to the woman being ᴍᴜʀᴅᴇʀᴇᴅ, so is someone trying to frame Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard)?
The GH weekly promo opened up on an explosive note. Sonny, along with Laura Collins (Genie Francis), and Anna Devane (Finola Hughes), were shown in the interrogation room at the PCPD when Anna states that Natalia’s autopsy results are in.
Laura questions what they say, and Anna has a very dramatic look on her face.
Fast forward in the preview for the week of July 7, and there’s a clip of Marco Rios (Adrian Anchondo) telling his dad, Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota), that “Sonny can’t get away with this,” with Sidwell responding, “He won’t.”
It looks like Natalia’s demise, mixed in with the explosive attack on Charlie’s Pub that *almost* cost Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi) her life, could trigger an all-out war between Sonny and Sidwell, but let’s talk about Natalia’s autopsy first.
Fans know that Sonny did not purposely target Natalia; a mix of pills and alcohol seemingly caused her demise.
Natalia was recently charged with a DUI, not her first, and ADA Justine Turner (Nazneen Contractor) offered her a deal if she could provide the ‘goods’ on Sonny.
Natalia went straight to Sonny with this information, and he organized a new life for her in Belize to reward her for covering for him.
Unfortunately, she was under the impression that the two of them were starting a new life outside of Port Charles together when that wasn’t the case.
Sadly, she sought comfort in meds and alcohol, and the lethal combination ended her life.
Before this, when Natalia had told her son about Sonny’s plans, he believed that the mob boss was swerving his mom.
Marco was frantic regarding his mom’s belief that Sonny wouldn’t hurt her but help her escape her legal issues; Marco believed that there was no way an organized criminal would allow a woman who had any evidence against him to live.
Still, Marco was wrong, as Sonny did have good intentions to help Natalia, but if her autopsy report comes back and there are hints that she was ᴍᴜʀᴅᴇʀᴇᴅ, Marco will come to the conclusion that Sonny is behind it all, and he will seek revenge.
That’s another soap blog entirely in itself, but this also leads to some speculation that Sonny is being framed for Natalia’s ᴍᴜʀᴅᴇʀ.
The number one suspect in all this would be Sidwell. He’s as cut-throat as villains can get. Could he have organized Natalia’s autopsy to be tampered with?
Could he have placed an unknown substance in her meds/alcohol, knowing she would meet her demise?
The latter seems outrageous, even for Sidwell. He may not have gotten along with his ex, but going to these lengths to end her seems extreme, even for him.
Surely, he wouldn’t cross a line like this against the mother of his son, right? However, if she had passed away and there was an opportunity to frame his nemesis, he might jump on the idea.
If Sidwell has the power and authority to bribe a judge, surely he could bribe a hospital employee or someone at the PCPD.
With that said, Ezra Boyle (Daniel Cosgrove) has it out for Sonny, and has similar power and authority, so could the city councilman be the one behind the tampering?
There’s also a chance ADA Turner is far sketchier than she is letting on, so she could be a suspect, too.
General Hospital spoilers note that Sonny’s been able to escape crimes for decades, so how ironic would it be if he took the fall for something he never did, right?
Only time will tell if this will be the case, but regardless, Sonny has a ton of drama on the horizon thanks to Natalia’s passing and her potentially tampered autopsy.
