General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Wednesday, July 2, reveal that Marco Rios (Adrian Anchondo) will suspect there’s more to the story when it comes to Natalia Ramirez’s (Eva LaRue) overdose. Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) will also be willing to let Marco become collateral damage in his feud with Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota), so here’s what viewers can expect.
For starters, Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) will give Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) updates on Sonny’s second Deception investment not being totally clean.
Tracy will insist she’s “so not happy” about being right since she never thought they should accept Sonny’s money to begin with.
At the hospital, Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) will receive some news from Metro Court security, so Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) will ask if there’s anything useful.
Chase and Anna want to find the guy who was lurking outside Natalia’s suite – and GH fans know that guy is Sonny’s henchman, Paul.
Although Anna and Chase have considered the idea that Natalia took her own life, they’re also wondering if the scene could’ve been staged.
That’s especially true since Natalia had her suitcase out and was preparing to leave town.
Sonny isn’t really to blame for Natalia’s decision to mix so many pills and that much alcohol, but he’s going to fall under suspicion anyway.
When Marco gets interviewed, he’ll insist he’s almost positive that’s not the full story.
It sounds like Marco will hear the theory that Natalia might’ve ᴋɪʟʟᴇᴅ herself on purpose and argue that’s not the case.
Marco may point the finger at Sonny, especially after Lucas Jones (Van Hansis) mentions what he learned from Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) about Natalia showing up at the church earlier.
Lucas will voice some concerns, so he may worry Sonny was indeed responsible for Natalia’s demise – though he could have concerns about Marco’s latest rescue as well.
Marco was in the right place at the right time, so he saved Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi) from the fire at Charlie’s Pub.
However, Sonny and Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) are understandably suspicious since Marco is Jenz Sidwell’s (Carlo Rota) son.
It seems like Sonny thinks Marco knows more about his father’s agenda than he’s letting on.
That’s why Sonny will vow payback and suggest that if Marco ends up as collateral damage, so be it!
After Josslyn finds out about the blaze and heads to the crime scene, she’ll vent to Vaughn (Bryce Durfee) about Sonny putting Kristina in danger.
It’ll leave Josslyn furious, especially since Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) just almost lost his life in a fire related to Sonny, too.
“Sonny Corinthos brings Dᴇᴀᴛʜ wherever he goes!” Josslyn exclaims in Wednesday’s GH preview video.
While Josslyn unleashes her Sonny fury, Giovanni “Gio” Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza) will be busy confiding in Emma Scorpio-Drake (Braedyn Bruner).
Perhaps Gio will admit he’s starting to understand all the warnings he’s received about the risks of being in Sonny’s orbit.
Finally, General Hospital spoilers say Tracy will have a few tricks up her sleeve when it comes to her next plot, so stay tuned.
