General Hospital Drama Leading Up To Drew Cain Losing His Quartermaine Surname?
Drew Cain is about to get even madder when it comes to his family. General Hospital fans now know that Drew can no longer legally use the Quartermaine name. His recent plot to have the family crypt torn down is proving to backfire.
Tracy Quartermaine fights hard. This situation is no different as she struggles to keep the final resting place of their family from being messed with. In fact, Emma and Tracy chained themselves outside of the crypt. Anna showed up and ordered bolt cutters to free the two from the mausoleum.
She arrested Emma and took her to the police department. Tracy still refused to leave and took the opportunity to address Port Charles citizens about the outrageous request for the crypt to be demolished.
Tracy said, “Good people of Port Charles. My father, my mother, and my brother are all laid to rest here after spending an entire lifetime dedicated to this community. This is their final sanctuary.”
Of course, she couldn’t miss the opportunity to call out Congressman Cain at the end of her touching speech.
Who Stripped Drew Of His Name?
Then, just when it seemed Boyle would get his way with the demolition. Plus, just as Tracy was arrested, Diane appeared with a cease and desist order. An outraged Boyle demanded to know who authorized the new order. Diane said, “Dr. Monica Quartermaine.” The family had been doing their best to keep Monica out of the loop of the happenings with the crypt due to her failing health.
With the latest development, Boyle called Drew to inform him the demolition wasn’t going to happen. He said, “The crypt isn’t going anywhere, and your days as a Quartermaine are over. Moving forward, you are legally obligated to use the name Drew Caine.”
Drew wanted to know how Tracy was able to make that happen. Boyle said, “Oh, Tracy didn’t. Monica did.”
Things will continue to downward spiral with Drew and his family. They want nothing to do with him as his schemes continue to plague their family.
The drama will only continue when Willow finally moves in with Drew causing more uproar within the Quartermaine family.
Many fans have been questioning why Drew has been so different to the point of wondering if he’s even the real Drew Cain. Could he really be a villain in disguise?
Fans will have to continue to tune in to General Hospital as Drew plots for more revenge against the Quartermaines.
