General Hospital (GH) spoilers indicate that as Michael Corinthos is set to exit the canvas, his portrayer, Chad Duell, recently made a pit stop on the Daily Drama podcast. He joined his former GH colleagues, Steve Burton (Jason Morgan) and Bradford Anderson (Damian Spinelli). The three GH co-stars had a lot of fun while Duell discussed several topics.
GH’s co-head writers, Chris Van Etten and Elizabeth Korte, recently shared a preview with TV Insider about what’s to come on the show in 2025. One intriguing spoiler suggested that Jason might be spending a lot more time in Sasha Corbin’s (portrayed by Sofia Mattsson) orbit. This would be due to a promise he makes to Michael, who is set to make a shocking exit soon.
During the Daily Drama chat, Burton also shared his thoughts on Michael’s storyline. GH spoilers suggest fans have sensed that a romance might be brewing between Jason and Sasha. It’ll certainly be interesting to see if this ends up happening.
As they discussed Michael’s current issues with his wife, Willow Corinthos (played by Katelyn MacMullen), Burton jokingly gave Michael some advice. He humorously suggested that Michael should let Willow go, considering all she’s done, and reunite with Sasha. Burton jokingly added, “I think you should come back next week and just get with Sasha.”
Since GH films several weeks ahead of its broadcast schedule, this playful remark may hint that Duell has already wrapped up filming for the show. Still, the banter didn’t stop there. As Michael’s departure storyline approaches, the conversation shifted from Michael and Sasha to Jason and Sasha.
Duell humorously pointed out that Stone Cold (Jason) has been sharing some scenes with Sasha lately. He even joked about Michael’s uncles going after two of his previous love interests. Referring to Michael’s complicated relationships and Drew Quartermaine (played by Cameron Mathison) being the reason for Michael and Willow’s marital troubles, Burton quipped, “Who’s going to take care of your kid?”
Duell replied, “You!” Burton laughed and retorted, “Why? I already raised you! I don’t want another one.”
It’s hard to tell whether Burton is truly a fan of the potential Sasha-Jason pairing, as much of the discussion was lighthearted. However, it’s clear that both Anderson and Burton would love to see Chad Duell return to GH someday and perhaps share a storyline with Sasha again.
