The Family Chantel star Pedro Jimeno is being heavily criticized for talking about protecting his clients when he couldn’t protect his own wife, Chantel Everett. Pedro from the Dominican Republic met American woman Chantel online. Their romance was documented in 90 Day Fiancé season 4 and later on in multiple episodes of their own spin-off until Pedro divorced Chantel out of the blue in 2022. Chantel’s family had never trusted Pedro, but she kept fighting for him. In the end, Pedro proved he always had an ulterior motive to be together with Chantel.
Pedro recently found himself in hot water for trying to promote his real estate business using a trending social media format but instead, coming across as a hypocrite.
Pedro created an Instagram video using a trending format which uses a clip of a woman performing Taekwondo to kick a plastic bottle.
Pedro kicked a bottle thrown at him which was supposed to hit a woman who stood behind him. The woman represented his client who Pedro was trying to “protect.” He compiled several clips like these which showed him hitting the bottle with his head and later with a baseball bat. Pedro captioned the video, “Siempre protegiendo los clients.” He also recorded himself speaking, “My name is Pedro Jimeno, we ld realty team and we always protect our clients.”

Pedro’s video received mixed reactions, but there were several 90 Day Fiancé viewers slamming him for the way he behaved with Chantel. One of his followers, goodoverevil48 wrote, “I wouldn’t let this guy sell my dog house.” Be.distinguished1977 added, “You always protect your clients, but you didn’t protect Chantel.” Meanwhile, pamula_the_auntie posted that they were “embarrassed” for Pedro. Pedro chose to ignore these negative responses when his video was supposed to be lighthearted and intended to market his realtor business. Pedro is now focused on real estate instead of reality TV and might want to stay away from the franchise.
While Pedro may have really fallen in love with Chantel when he met her, viewers suspect his agenda to stay with her changed over time.
Pedro was accused of staying with Chantel only for a green card and taking advantage of her feelings. Now that Chantel is no longer a part of his life, Pedro has been a one-man show.
