Kathleen Gati is one of the most loved cast members of General Hospital. She is famous for portraying Liesl Obrecht on the ABC sudser. Despite her popularity with the GH fan base, it has been a while since we saw her last.
Kathleen’s memorable stint as Liesl was during Willow’s cancer storyline. She donated her bone marrow to save Willow’s life. Many fans would remember that the General Hospital storyline involved the iconic Victor Cassadine kidnapping Liesl right before the bone marrow surgery.
Drew Cain then led a rescue operation to Greenland. The mission not only rescued Liesl and brought her back home in time for the surgery but also culminated in Victor Cassadine’s shocking ᴅᴇᴀᴛʜ in a blast.
Unfortunately, the bone marrow transplant storyline was the last time we saw her. It has been several months since then. At this point, we can’t help but wonder if actress Kathleen Gati is done with GH for good.

It’s always so much fun to see her on screen, and it’s about time she got a new front-burner storyline. Kathleen Gati is a terrific actress and is hugely underutilized.
