So what Kate Mansi took over the role of Kristina Corinthos-Davis from Lexi Ainsworth, she had huge shoes to fill. Kristina really didn’t act much differently in the beginning of Kate’s tenure.
As her storyline progressed, the writing for Kristina has made her more sympathetic without taking away the qualities that make Kristina who she it. And Mansi has embraced every facet of her complex character.

Not long after Mansi took over the role, her sister Molly Lansing-Davis (Kristen Vaganos) decided she wanted to have a baby with her partner TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow). It was long before Molly discovered she wouldn’t be able to have a baby herself.
Eventually, they decided to use a surrogate. Their first attempt ended tragically when the surrogate miscarried. That’s when Kristina offered to not only be her sister’s surrogate but the egg donor as well.
Meanwhile, Kristina began a relationship with musician Allison Rogers aka Blaze (Jacqueline Grace Lopez).

This week Kristina has had to deal with trouble on many fronts. She and Blaze spent the early part of the week nervously preparing for an interview with Perez Hilton.
Then Kristina showed her concern for her father with an emotional discussion with Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell).
Next, Kristina showed strength and compassion during the actual interview. And finally, anger and exasperation as Molly criticized Kristina’s showing during the interview.
General Hospital Spoilers – Kate Mansi Plays All Of Kristina Corinthos-Davis’ Emotions
Kristina displayed about every emotion the week somethings shifting from happiness to anger to regret all in one scene. Mansi handled these nuances perfectly and really made Kristina someone to root for.
What’s interesting is that Kristina still has many of the negative character traits she always has, but Mansi has added layers to an already complex character. And this week is a perfect example of why she is now the definitive Kristina in this writer’s opinion.
