General Hospital spoilers and rumors tease that Sasha Corbin (Sophia Matson) may find herself in a difficult dilemma. It seems she could be pregnant with Michael Corinthos’ (Chad Duell) baby. In fact, she’s already purchased an at-home pregnancy test. Viewers will remember that Sasha had a one-night stand with Michael after they encountered each other at the Brown Dog bar.
Basically, you could categorize it as “grief sex.” Sasha, having just learned that the man she was wild about was her cousin, and Michael discovering his wife was sleeping with his uncle, were both in a vulnerable state. It was one of those moments where each needed comfort, and they turned to each other.
Michael and Sasha were once close. They almost married in the past when they were originally together. Willow Corinthos (Kaitlyn McMullen) was involved with Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard), and Sasha pretended to be involved with Michael to push him and Willow together for Wiley Corinthos’ (Viron Weaver) sake.
Sasha and Michael agreed to keep their tryst a secret, but now Sasha is worried it can’t stay hidden. Why? Because she might be pregnant with his baby. It’s a sensitive situation for many reasons. Almost as many people know about her and Cody Bell’s (Josh Kelly) relationship as know about the fact that they’re cousins. If Sasha starts sporting a baby bump, people might assume the baby is Cody’s. And if that happens, both Sasha and Cody could lose their jobs with the Quartermaines.
Yet, it’s inconceivable to Sasha to even think about terminating the pregnancy, especially given how much she loved her late father, Mike Corbin (Max Gail). But if she comes clean about her night with Michael, there are many risks as well. Even though, at this point, Michael’s marriage may not be worth saving.
Sasha decides to confide in one trusted person: her close friend, Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms). Sasha and Willow’s once-close friendship came to an end when Willow realized that Cody had learned about her kiss with Drew Quartermaine (Cameron Mathison).
Maxie already knows that Sasha and Cody had to break up because of Holly Sutton’s (Emma Samms) revelation that Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) is Sasha’s birthfather. Maxie also knows about the inappropriate attraction between Drew and Willow, although she may not know how far it’s gone since then. But Maxie can be trusted to keep Sasha’s secret.
Maxie should be able to give Sasha some good advice about what to do regarding the baby. One thing she will no doubt say is to be honest and tell Michael.
