Michael and Angela are probably one of the most consistent 90 Day Fiance pairs. But fans don’t watch them for their romance but for the drama they bring to the screen. In the new episodes, Michael has been navigating his life in America with Angela, her daughter Skyla, and the grandkids. He had landed in the States in December 2023 and ran away from there in March 2024.
In a new interview, Michael finally addressed the most burning question, ‘Was he with Angela for all these years just for the green card?’ Well, he denied this. He explained the only reason he was so adamant about getting his green card was because, as an immigrant, that’s the only card that can enable him to get other important cards like a driver’s license.
Michael also mentioned that whenever he would want his wife Angela to get the card mailed to them, she would get angry. The infamous 90 Day Fiance meemaw used to be ready to pick fights with Michael for this very reason. The latter believed it wasn’t a big deal as the price of the process was merely $220. But asking for it created more problems for them.
90 Day Fiance: Michael Says He Wanted To Keep His ‘Record Clean’ So He Escaped Angela!
In the interview, Michael also opened up about what was the breaking point i.e., the last thing that made him leave Angela. The 90 Day Fiance tried to be modest without going into too many details. He said how Angela treated him, “badly.” Moreover, he had begun to feel like a “nobody” around her house.
He also mentioned, things get bad when Angela gets angry as “no one can tell her what to do” as she does things as she pleases. Michael’s concern was having a clean record and no trouble with the law. Hence, he decided it would be best for him to run away as he “feared for his life.” While he didn’t use any controversial words, there are rumors that Angela tased him and made him sleep on a lobby of a hotel during one of their fights.
However, Michael didn’t confirm nor deny this or even bring this incident up. Chances are he might be doing to so to protect either his or Angela’s already tarnished reputation.
