MINUTES AGO! It’s Over! General Hospital Damian Spinelli Drops Breaking News! It will shock you!
Your latest General Hospital comings and goings update says Damian Spinelli returns to save someone while a huge crossover plot is revealed. Plus, we have more scenes with someone sick and a lady mobster back in Port Chuck. All this and more in this GH casting news edition!
Bradford Anderson is back on GH as Damian Spinelli. He hasn’t been on since April of 2023. Yes, folks, The Jackal is back! Perhaps Spinelli also gets time with Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms), but that is not primarily why we got Spinelli scenes. Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) taps Spinelli to help her get some proof against Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs) to save Cody Bell (Josh Kelly). So we’ll have a little bit of Spinelli in General Hospital comings and goings, which is very, very exciting. Fans adore Bradford Anderson and can’t wait to see what Damian Spinelli gets up to while he’s in Port Charles.
We’ve also got some Gregory Chase drama coming up. Of course, he’s played by Gregory Harrison. Currently, Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) and Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) are working with Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn). He’s keeping an eye on Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) while struggling with his declining ALS. So we’re obviously not going to have him long-term on the ABC soap opera.
Then on Wednesday, June 21st, we’ve got Selina Wu back in Port Charles. The always excellent Lydia Look is back as the lady mobster. Selina has not been seen in roughly a month. She explained to Gladys that she had to go to Singapore to visit her mother, and when she got back, she expected debt payment on that $80,000 Gladys owes for poker losses. Official General Hospital spoilers see Selina mediating between two gamblers.
We saw Dr. Navarro about a month ago on May 18th when she first diagnosed Molly Lansing-Davis (Holiday Mia Kriegel) with endometriosis. Molly soon found out things are worse—she’s not producing enough eggs for them to use for IVF. So it looks as though there’s not even a way for her to have a biological child at all with TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow). When she was first diagnosed, Haley Pullos was still in the role, but as far as we know, she is still in rehab. We did a special dedicated YouTube video on this issue. Soap Dirt talked to a very successful Los Angeles DUI attorney who explained why her lawyer likely advised her to head to rehab. It turns out under California law, time spent in rehab can deduct from any time you’re sentenced to for that criminal charge. Pullos faces a felony DUI charge, aggravated by the accusation that she was under the influence of both drugs and alcohol. The hit-and-run before she slammed into another driver further aggravated the charges against her, as does the fact she did grave bodily injury to the driver she struck while allegedly drunk and high on marijuana edibles. So she faces 3 to 6 years behind bars, according to the lawyer we talked to, and he said the longer she’s in rehab, the more time could be applied to any potential jail sentence. This calls into question whether General Hospital will fire her or whether she’ll choose to stay away and ride out the time in rehab versus behind bars. So look for recast Holiday Mia Kriegel to continue playing Molly indefinitely.
Okay, and we have one more big thing to talk about—that’s a soap crossover! We’re very excited about this. Walt Willey is bringing Jack Montgomery to Port Charles in July. This is the big All My Children crossover, and we are covering this in a dedicated video, but we pretty much have figured out this is definitely about the SEC plot. Definitely watch for that. But it looks like his first plot is going to be getting somebody out of jail that was sent there for the SEC insider trading case.
