General Hospital News: Is Kelly Monaco Moving To Primetime?
Of course, we are talking about General Hospital star Kelly Monaco. It was just revealed earlier in the week that she has been fired from the show.
The actress, who is best known for her role as Sam McCall on the hit ABC soap, has been on the show for the last 21 years.
Even though she’s had minor parts on shows like Baywatch back in the late 1990s, Spring City, and Football Wives, she became a household name thanks to her role on General Hospital.
That’s why so many of her fans are absolutely livid that she is being treated the way that she has by the show’s frontrunners. They still want to know why she’s being let go of the show and worse, why her character Sam is being killed off, too.
With that said though, there’s also heavy speculation that Kelly might end up making the shift to primetime.
It’s highly unlikely that she would make the jump to another daytime television show. A lot of her fans believe that she’s got everything that it takes to become a huge primetime star and that she should have jumped ship several years ago but unfortunately, never did.
