According to reports, an operation was in full swing Thursday, August 16 by the Los Angeles Police Department in connection with the murder of General Hospital (GH) star, Johnny Wactor.
As per a number of law enforcement sources, arrests are being made in connection with this crime, and search warrants have been served.
LA Police have ID’d Florencia 13 gang members with Johnny’s shooting, which occurred just outside downtown Los Angeles. As per TMZ, fingerprints were found at the scene of the crime.

On May 25, the actor was shot “without provocation” at approximately 3:25 a.m. after his shift ended at Level 8 bar, where he was working at.
Wactor was heading to his car and was approached by three individuals.
They had raised his vehicle off the ground with a jack, trying to steal the catalytic converter when they shot at him – as per a police statement.

The arrests come mere days after friends and family of the actor held a media conference outside of the Los Angeles City Hall.
They were pleading to the public for any information to help with Wactor’s shooting investigation.
Earlier in August, the LAPD released surveillance photos of the three suspects, as well as the stolen Infiniti they used to escape police.
Supporters also held a march in June as a memorial to the actor and to place added pressure on city officials to hold Wactor’s murderers accountable for their crime.
Johnny was only 37 years old at the time of his death, which was caused due to a gunshot wound to the chest.
The actor was cremated, and his remains are now with family in South Carolina.
While it can’t bring the GH actor back, it looks like justice may finally be served.
