90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? star Angela Deem and Michael Ilesanmi were still married on the season 8 Tell All despite her believing that he was a cheater and a scammer. Angela insisted she was the only one fighting for their marriage ever since Michael landed in the U.S. She accused him of not appreciating her efforts but accused him of demanding a green card as soon as he arrived. Angela had always been insecure about her age and looks ever since she started dating Michael. Angela had never been with someone who was 20 years younger than her.
Given Michael’s disinterest in her and the constant nagging and controlling behavior she subjected him to, she should have predicted he was going to cheat on her. Angela wanted a divorce from Michael. She even claimed that their marriage wasn’t legal. She wanted a way out. Angela decided to pull Michael’s visa application when she saw Michael was in a group named “Paradise Men” and talking to men from Nigeria who were awaiting their own visas. While Angela’s private investigator announced Michael was not cheating on Angela or using her for a visa, she had a different opinion.
Michael Dumped Angela In February 2024
Michael disappeared from Angela’s home in Georgia in February 2024. Angela reported Michael missing through a TikTok video. This resulted in Angela spoiling her storyline and possibly breaking her NDA. It is rumored that Angela has been removed from the franchise since her storyline with Michael on 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? was only limited to a few episodes. Meanwhile, Michael did get in touch with the police on the same day she cried about his disappearance and assured them he was safe. Michael has not revealed how he went to Texas and who is in his new family.
Angela Reported Michael To Homeland Security
In May 2024, Angela claimed to have receipts about Michael being a scammer. She posted a Reel containing a screenshot of one of Michael’s TikTok videos to show the comments he’d received on it. Angela wanted her followers to observe a comment posted by Fleet Wash Pro saying, “We did it broda,” with a laughing emoji. Michael had liked the particular comment. Angela added, “SORRY HE TOOK IT DOWN BUT TO LATE” in her caption along with the hashtag, “#HIMELANDSECURITY” while she attempted to call on Homeland Security and punish Michael for scamming her to come to the U.S.
Angela Has Filed For Annulment From Michael
Angela filed for an annulment in June 2024 from Michael. According to InTouch, he is claiming that Michael “abandoned” her. Angela states that she was “fraudulently induced” into marriage by Michael so he could gain legal permanent residency in the States. Angela’s petition also mentions that she discovered Michael was engaged in a conspiracy with other Nigerian men to lure U.S. citizens into marrying them so they could get green cards. The 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? star noted that she doesn’t know where Michael lives now. She’s requested financial support for attorney fees and court costs.
