90 Day Fiancé: Signs That Michael Always Planned To Leave Angela Deem (His Fourth Of July Antics Are One Clue But There’s More)

90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? star Michael Ilesanmi flaunting his new family in the U.S. confirms that he was going to leave Angela Deem sooner or later, but there’s more to the story than meets the eye. Michael was living in Lagos when he messaged Georgia woman, Angela, out of the blue on Facebook. Angela fell for the young man – he called her beautiful while messaging her from thousands of miles away. Angela married Michael in January 2020, losing some weight before his arrival. Michael didn’t appreciate Angela’s efforts. He was always using her.

Angela learned that Michael had been cheating on her during HEA season 7. There was a reason why Angela didn’t want Michael to have Instagram. For two months, he had been talking to a younger woman while he also fought with the famous Meemaw, who begged him to deactivate his account. He continued talking to her after he and Angela made up, and she thought everything was great between them. Angela had been forwarded a voice note Michael had sent the woman. He’d told that female that he loved her, making smooching sounds, and talking about sending money to her.

One of Angela’s friends had sent her proof which revealed Michael was having an affair with the 31-year-old American woman he met through Instagram when Angela was with him in Nigeria. Angela discovered Michael had told the other women he loved her while he was in bed with Angela. “I never thought he would cheat on me. Swear to God, never ever,” Angela told her co-stars during the Tell All. Michael said the woman was a “random lady,” assuring Angela that nobody was going to come between them.

After Michael convinced Angela that he loved only her, the two patched things up on 90 Day: The Last Resort. However, Angela discovered that Michael was the admin of a WhatsApp group called “Paradise Men” just before his visa interview in Abidjan. The chats were full of Nigerian men with American wives and girlfriends waiting for their visas. They were spotted laughing about older women wanting young African husbands. He was also having discussions about getting a life insurance policy for Angela. Moreover, he had a Nigerian piggy bank, where he was putting money aside for a “rainy day.”

Michael Always Had “Family” In The U.S.

Michael said the group was named “Paradise Men” because the U.S. was the “Land of free” and a “paradise.” Michael always knew he was going to be “free” from Angela once he came to America. He had a burner phone with a photo of his passport with him when he left Angela’s house without clothes or a wallet. Michael knew exactly where he was running off to when he went to live in Texas. He’s wearing brand-new clothes and has a proper phone now, as seen in his mirror selfies. He’s attending parties and seemingly has a new girlfriend.

Michael revealed that he had a new family in America on the Fourth of July. He’s been posting videos of him playing soccer with a group of friends, and he celebrated Independence Day with the same people. Michael played a game of soccer and had an outdoor lunch with his friends. Perhaps it’s the same group of people he met on Paradise Men, and they too have set themselves “free” from their respective American partners. They’re living together in an American community. It doesn’t look like they are strangers, and Michael’s even calling his family now.

Did Michael Lie About Being Afraid Of Angela?

John Yates did a YouTube Live with Angela where he informed fans that Michael had been found safe, just days after his disappearance. Michael had contacted the police and verified his identity using photos of his passport on a burner phone. He told the police he didn’t want Angela knowing his location and that he was “in fear of his life.” Michael could have lied about Angela being a threat to his life, considering he planned to always dump her after coming to America. Michael knew that fans would also believe his claims considering Angela’s aggressive behavior on camera.
